Preserving America Partners

Americana Corner recognizes the importance of sharing the incredible story of our country’s founding era through its formative first century. To further this mission, we’ve created the Preserving America Partners program, a philanthropic initiative aimed at supporting large-scale, multi-year endeavors that create new or enhance existing programming at historical sites focused on the period from 1607 to 1876. 

The Partners program is designed to empower historical organizations with resources and support to preserve and promote America’s story. Unlike traditional grant programs, this initiative provides substantial funding over an extended period, offering stability to develop transformative projects and sustainable strategies. Participants can enhance programming, launch new initiatives, and receive support for advertising campaigns and fundraising events—critical areas often overlooked by other grants.

In addition to financial support, the program offers mentorship from Americana Corner and its network of professionals, providing hands-on guidance and essential skills for long-term success. Participants also gain access to a collaborative community of organizations with mutual goals, fostering partnerships and shared learning to amplify their impact.

This unparalleled combination of funding, mentorship, and networking equips organizations to achieve sustainable success, ensuring that our shared heritage continues to inspire future generations.

Invited partners receive a minimum of $25,000 annually for up to five years to fund significant projects that will considerably advance the mission of the partner organizations while helping them broaden their reach. By fostering collaborative partnerships through this program, we aim to reinforce the legacy of our nation's past while inspiring future generations to engage with history in meaningful ways.
